Thanks to a grant from the NordsonGive program and Value Plastics, the Lincoln Center Support League and the Lincoln Center were able to bring Story Pirates to three Poudre School District elementary schools along with two performances at the Lincoln Center.
Story Pirates celebrates creative writing by elementary students. The performers/staff went to Irish, Laurel and Cache La Poudre elementary schools where students were asked to write short stories on any topic they wanted. The stories were then reviewed and one story from each school was chosen to be performed for a "live" audience at the Lincoln Center.
The Lincoln Center Support League sponsors several projects for fundraising. These include the Annual Holiday Fundraiser which features the Hall of Gifts and the Gallery of Trees. The Support League also participates in Lincoln Center fundraising/donor programs.
Check out our membership information, join us at a meeting, or give a monetary donation. The Lincoln Center Support League meets on the first Tuesday of every month (except June, July, and December) at 5:45pm at the Lincoln Center.
